What a treasure! I found this place by chance and Im glad I did! The shop is full of really interesting items and the tea shop was very reasonable, the tea and cake I had was excellent.
There is a facinating “secret” garden aswell. I will certainly return.
    Many Thanks Jane Rayner

I thought the shop was amazing! I’ve never seen anything like it before, lots of beautiful items. There was a lovely display of home made cakes and the cup cakes are yummy! I was over this way for an appointment and i thought this place was great. The gardens are beautiful too, will def be returning soon :)

going to mcgarrys is one of my favorite ways of spending some enjoyable hours, what could be nicer than browsing around discovering all sorts of interesting things and then finishing your visit with a welcome cup of tea and a piece of cake.

I visited the tea shop with my mum on Saturday (2nd July 2011) and had a lovely afternoon.

The home-made cream and jam scone was absolutely delicious (and warm) and went very well with quite a few cups of tea.

Beautiful and quiet surroundings with a charming and non-intrusive service.

    Thank you so much :)

We love Megarrys! It’s a lovely place to go to for a cup of tea and cake and looking at/ buying the antiques is an added bonus! Well worth a visit.
